A new species of Pseudodiaptomus (Copepoda, Calanoida, Pseudodiaptomidae) from off Tanjung Merah, Bitung, North Sulawesi, Indonesia

What is it about?

This Pseudodiaptomus kleini n. sp., is a Copepod from North Sulawesi, Indonesia. It is very unique compared to the other 78 species of this genus, especially it's swimming legs. The terminal spine of the swimming legs has form of very long seta instead of simple spine which is one of the general characters of this genus.
