Taxonomic discrimination of species of the genus Metapenaeus Wood-Mason, 1891 from Indian waters through morphometric and molecular studies

What is it about?

The present study identified important measuring characters for discriminating abundantly available species of genus Metapenaeus from India. The study also developed species specific molecular signatures for identifying the species irrespective of their life stage.
