What is it about?

Wild long-tailed macaques in Thailand use stone tools to break open shellfish, nuts, and other hard foods. We report new evidence for a wild macaque using a stone tool as a hunting weapon to stun or kill a crab that is trying to defend itself. This is the first time that stone tools have been seen used by a non-human animal for hunting dangerous prey.
