What is it about?

Some animals call and actively search for mates which expose them to risks. To avoid being conspicuous to predators, individuals can use different strategies. In lebinthine crickets, some males produce longer calls and explore consistently more than others. But males that produce longer calls do not necessarily explore more. Results suggest individuals of the population have different strategies.
