What is it about?

Multiparty negotiation must be taught differently from two party negotiation. We have designed Gen AI-assisted coaching bots to help teach multiparty negotiation. The results of our experiments are presented.

Why is it important?

There are some who believe that AI can substitute for individuals who need to take on certain negotiations and don't have confidence in their abilities. We think it is a mistake to turn over negotiation responsibilities to an AI. On the other hand, we think AI-bots can play helpful coaching roles for individuals who want to improve their negotiation effectiveness. We have designed preparation bots and debrieing bots. Here's how they worked.
