Why is it important?

This is not just an exploration into the validity of a genealogy of British videogames from the 1980s. It is an insight into the history of the videogames medium as a whole and proposes a different approach from the dominant US centric historiography that has defined it.

Perspectives

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to review this book. At first, it seemed like it would "just" be an interesting read, and despite some misdirection in the book, as a whole, it provides some very useful points to explore further within my research project.
