For years technical education was seen as an alternative to rigorous academic preparation. Changes in policies and programs have created environments where CTE programs may actually be enhancing of learning while also providing technical skills. Understanding how such programs impact student outcomes is critical, and this evidence shows clear benefits from CTE models in Massachusetts
