This is a collegial discussions that contributes to the knowledge of the natural history of T cruzi infection and Chagas cardiomyopathy.
Perspectives
Further study of our cohort will help to determine whether the incidence of cardiomyopathy continues with longer follow-up and whether disease severity worsens among patients already diagnosed with cardiomyopathy.
