What is it about?

Dental extractions were performed, the alveoli were filled with collagen sheets and reactive soft tissue was not removed from the site. Three dimensional radiological examination was performed before extractions and at 3 months to evaluate bone healing

Why is it important?

Reactive soft tissue preservation in post-extraction alveoli allowed new bone formation and correlated increase in bone volume

Perspectives

I think this article gives a good protocol to preserve bone volume after dental extractions
