What is it about?
Neutropenic enterocolitis (NE) is a rare form of inflammatory colitis seen in severely neutropenic patients. Patients typically have severe neutropenia (absolute neutrophil count < 500/mm3) in the setting of exposure to cytotoxic chemotherapy.

Why is it important?
We report a case of neutropenic enterocolitis in a patient with mTNBC receiving Sacituzumab Govitecan, and its successful management. Prompt diagnosis and management of neutropenic enterocolitis in such patients can be potentially lifesaving.
