What is it about?
the case of a youg girl whose eyelids were infesteed with pubic hair lice. This was seen after examining the eyelids under the biomicroscope. Treatment was succesful with no recurrence.

Why is it important?
It is always important to examine the eyelids under high magnification because symptoms resemble those of allergy or infection of the eyelids. Lice infestation mat go unnoticed for long if detailed examination is not carried out.
