What is it about?
Behçet's disease is mainly associated with HLA-B51 in Southern Tunisia. This antigen was not associated with recurrent aphthous stomatitis (RAOU) ; however, it had an impact on clinical features associated with RAOU. Finally, this study is the first to confirm H63D association with isolated RAOU.
