Why is it important?

Substance P, a mediator of the pain nervous system, acts on human eosinophils by attracting them to increase their migration to the point where Substance P is released; this phenomenon is called the Tripel-Response that is a reflecting response of nervous to the immune system to increase inflammation

Perspectives

The importance of this manuscript is the description of a phenomenon that the vegetative nervous system has a role in enhancing the inflammation, e.g. in asthma bronchiale.
