What is it about?
Heart failure is a common condition with a significant risk for death, and doctors usually need practical methods to predict who is at risk for death from heart failure. In this paper, we have investigated whether a simple risk model (dubbed as "Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction Risk Index") can help assessing patients with heart failure, and our initial findings indicate that this index is a useful and easy method to understand the risk of death in these patients.
