What is it about?

Excessive alcohol consumption is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. We have shown that long-term alcohol has adverse effects on kidney and blood pressure. More important, we have shown that these effects persist even after abstinence.

Our findings show that the adverse effects of alcohol consumption have long lasting consequences for the kidneys and blood pressure. It is crucial to raise awareness within the community about the harmful effects of alcohol consumption on cardiovascular health.

Perspectives

I hope this article will draw the attention of policymakers to the need for more effective preventive measures to reduce the impact of alcohol consumption on public health
