What is it about?
This study is analyzing the impact of non-ablative Erbium laser treatment for SUI (IncontiLase) to the quality of life of treated patients.

Why is it important?
Because it showed how the group of patients which were strongly bothered by their SUI symptoms improved their quality of life after the treatment. Patients reported that they did not consider their SUI symptoms bothersome enough to seek further medical care after laser treatment, even after a period of 9 months.
Perspectives
This study is one of many showing the efficacy and safety of IncontiLase treatment for SUI, but this one was putting the emphasis on the improvement of patients quality of life. There are already multiple RCT studies showing efficacy and safety of IncontiLase procedure in which various objective and subjective tools were used - I believe there is already enough clinical evidence about the successfulness of this procedure. I'm sure that in the near future it will be shown that patients would prefer this minimally invasive non-surgical procedure to some other, maybe currently more popular ...
