What is it about?
Midwives are at the front line of conducting deliveries, where they come into constant contact with newly born babies in need of assistance to take their first breath. Knowledge and skill in resuscitation by these midwives will help stem the tide of enfant mortality in our hospitals.

Why is it important?
The results present an empirical evidence that shows what is currently pertaining to helping babies survive in our delivery/labour units. It gives us an opportunity to design training modules to help equip these midwives to perform at their optimum best.
