What is it about?

PMB buidt 20-30 years ago are the current candidates for reconstruction. Using the recycled PMB creates new surfacing with specific properties (more rigid but more brittle). What does that mean to road administrator, are the procurement costs worth the benefits, does the inherent brittleness cause problems and if so, how much?

Lots of ageing PMB surfacing through the world is at the end of their life-cycle, road administrators should consider them for recyclation but should weight the risk of doing so.
