Why is it important?

Climate change has been disrupting the lives of millions of households along the coastal region of Bangladesh. Climate finance plays a critical role in supporting vulnerable households in engaging in adaptation measures. Utilising climate funds properly to reduce the impact of potential risks of climate change at the local level is essential for proactive adaptation to climate change.

Perspectives

While a lot of effort goes into holding developed countries accountable for climate change, the developing countries also play a critical role in delivering the support from climate finance to the vulnerable communities. Climate Justice is a joint responsibility of developed and developing countries. This article hopefully encourages readers to rethink the conventional delivery of climate finance at the household level.
