What is it about?
This work introduced an new hybrid algorithm (PS-FW) for the constrained optimization problem. The proposed algorithm combines the advantages of fireworks algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm. The PS-FW algorithm has strong global search capability and the solving efficiency are proved by numerical experiments.

We are the first to combine the fireworks algrithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm. The local optimizing efficiency and global search capability have been both enhanced. The PS-FW can be the effiective method for the optimization problem.
