What is it about?

Introduced species have very negative consequences on native species. In the plain of Mbo in Cameroon, we note the disappearance of indigenous fish species. the study was conducted to confirm one of the causes of this disappearance. We have listed 4 introduced species (Clarias gariepinus, Parachanna obscura, tilapia Cameronensis and Oreochromis niloticus)

the hybrid threat study is underway in this area. Indeed, it is necessary to check if there are hybridizations between the introduced species and the native species
