What is it about?

Leaking bleb formation near cataract removal site is an uncommon long term complication that may cause vision reduction due to decreased eye pressure as a result of over leakage of eye fluids. Vision is maintained with normal drainage of eye fluids after cataract surgery.

Why is it important?

In one patient with large tenons cyst normal vision maintained with open normal angle structures on gonioscopy, in an another patient gonioscopy revealed a unclosed cleft with visual loss secondary to hypotonic maculopathy.
