What is it about?

chaos is a multidisciplinary topic and is present in almost every field of science and engineering. This research addresses a special feature of chaos i.e. synchronization. Synchronization of chaotic systems is difficult especially when there exists uncertainty in the parameters of chaotic systems connected in a network. A special flavor of sliding mode control called integral sliding mode control is applied to get the hybrid synchronization between the chaotic systems coupled in the network.

Why is it important?

Currently, the researchers are interested in the field of chaos synchronization in the networks. This paper provides the opportunity for the reader to study the chaos behavior in a network in the presence of unknown system parameters. The performance of adaptive integral sliding mode control is evaluated in this paper.

Perspectives

The joint investigation of hybrid synchronization in a network of identical and non-identical chaotic systems in the presence of uncertain parameters was the need of time. The presentation of the work is excellent. The error dynamics are converging to origin in a short period of time and the unknown parameters are converging to their original values consequently.
