Three methods were used to predict the shear strength of FRP reinforced concrete beams by Artificial Neural Network and Gene expression programming as artificial intelligence techniques and regression analysis.

A large database was used to propose the three models which yielded very accurate results and generalized models, as well as, a parametric analysis was performed.


It is one of the best studies on proposing models based on artificial intelligence techniques.
