The study was designed to determine the attitudes and risk perceptions and to increase the environmental awareness of students at the Mersin University.

Why is it important?
Environmental destruction is one of the most important problems in this century.
Perspectives
It was found positive environmental attitude and above moderate-level environmental risk perception in the Mersin University students. The students expressed a lower level of interest towards ecological problems and issues that would have a negative effect on future generations.
