What is it about?
Designing antibodies is difficult because their sequence, 3D shape, and interaction with a target all need to work together. AbFlow designs these features jointly and uses the shape of the antigen surface to guide the process. This leads to more accurate antibody structures and better binding to their targets.

Why is it important?
Designing antibodies that bind well to a specific target usually requires careful consideration of both their 3D structure and the binding interface. AbFlow brings these aspects together in a single design process and makes better use of the antigen surface when generating antibodies. This could make computational antibody design more accurate and useful for developing antibodies with improved binding properties.
Perspectives
I was particularly interested in whether antibody design could be made more focused on the actual interaction with the antigen, rather than treating sequence and structure as separate steps. I hope this work helps move antibody generation toward more interaction-aware and practically useful design methods.
