What is it about?
We present a method to modelize an ocean in real time. It improves on the state of the art by exhibiting full aperiodicity at any scale. Our representation also happen to allow to control the orientation of the waves without stretching or distorsion.

Why is it important?
Modeling the ocean in real time is important for interactive applications representing large bodies of water such as video games. Modeling an aperiodic ocean in particular is important for the plausibility of that ocean. As for controling the orientation of the waves, it can help simulating phenomena such as a storm or waves moving towards the coast.
