Why is it important?
Given the ubiquitous availability of generative AI tools in the modern world and the substantial benefits that literature reviews can offer in research studies, employing generative AI can facilitate the rapid production of high-quality systematic literature reviews (SLRs). Researchers can leverage generative AI to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their literature review process by addressing critical issues such as data quality, ethical implications, and methodological rigour.
Perspectives
When employing generative AI tools, it is imperative to consider several critical issues to optimise outcomes. These issues encompass ethical considerations, data integrity, and the accuracy of the generated content. By systematically addressing these concerns throughout the process and thoroughly refining all reports at the conclusion, the quality and reliability of the final results can be significantly enhanced.
