What is it about?
We explore and investigate the gender gap issue at a small, STEM-focused university. In particular, we provide a methodology for how small institutions can address this historic challenge in computer science. Alongside results from our case study, we provide a summary of important takeaways that educators at small institutions should keep in mind when addressing this issue.

Why is it important?
We provide a unique perspective of trying of trying to mitigate the gender gap issue at a small institution in particular, without many resources. Addressing this issue under resource constraints, and then analysing the unique benefits and challenges small institutions face, is unique from most of the literature.
Perspectives
Writing this paper was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the fact that resource constraints don't have to stop you from making valuable change, particularly with respect to a challenging issue like the gender gap in CS.
