What is it about?
Spreadsheet programs are tailored for desktop computers with keyboard and mouse. Built around a grid that organizes the data, they allow users to be very efficient. On tablets, this grid intercepts most pen and touch actions, causing confusion and making it difficult to edit data or perform complex manipulations. In this project, we designed interactive techniques that leverage the precision of the pen to make the grid an ally again.
