What is it about?
At present, most common documents can only support a small amount of preset metadata, and cannot support semantic metadata from different ontologies. In addition, metadata cannot be shared among different types of documents. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a metadata support method for editable document OOXML to format document PDF. The method satisfies that any semantic metadata can be edited along with the editable document, and the metadata can be converted into the metadata in the fixed format document, so as to realize the semantic metadata support from the editable document to the fixed format document.

Why is it important?
We study how to support custom metadata in document format to break the limitation of only using inherent metadata, and how to make semantic metadata be retained in new document formats with the transformation of documents, so as to achieve consistent query and processing of semantic metadata in documents, without relying on specific document formats. Therefore, it has good theoretical significance and application value.
Perspectives
I am very happy to write this article. Studying the field of document information processing enables me to understand a lot of the underlying logic knowledge of documents.
