Why is it important?
Signal quality significantly affects the analysis and interpretation of vital signs. A simple and efficient method would help discard low quality signals and consider only meaningful vital signs in diagnosis and therapy.
Perspectives
I hope this article may help simplify the assessment of the quality of vital signs, especially gyrocardiograms that may be applied to cardiovascular health monitoring in case of lower necessity of using electrocardiography.
