What is it about?
L10N-TRAINER is a tool to assist in the training of novice localization (l10n) and internationalization (i18n) testers, the tool seeds l10n/i18n issues on mobilie applications that can be later used to train novices testers to better recognize the faults found during this type of testing.

Why is it important?
There is a lack empirical studies and tooling support related to l10n/i18n testing and it impacts directly in the training of novice testers for this practice. Besides that, usually the training is peformed by using a stable software, which means that the tester might finishes the training without observing l10n/i18n failures. In this work we contribute with the l10n/i18n testing community by delivering a tool that seeds related faults in mobile applications. This way, the testers have the opportunity to observe the failures found on this type of testing on their training stage and better assimilate the failures when testing on the production software environment.
Perspectives
We hope that this work contributes to reduce the lack of tooling support for l10n/i18n testing as well as inspiring more researches to search and contribute the l10n/i18n testing community.
