What is it about?
The paper proposes a remote attestation protocol to check the integrity of the code running in low-end devices in an IoT. The attestation protocols verify the integrity of the code as well as the execution of the code during runtime. It validates that the target code has not been tampered with by an attacker.

Why is it important?
This work is important to verify the integrity of codes in low-end IoT devices, which are often targets of attackers. This helps in checking attacks such as malware injection and runtime attacks, which can tamper devices and control systems.
