What is it about?
This work addresses the possibility of using intelligent lighting in public streets. By applying the concept of fog computing, simulations were conducted to understand how public streetlights would behave if they had road traffic flow monitoring. This approach could lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Why is it important?
The importance of this work lies precisely in the possibility of reducing the energy matrix used to maintain lighting in public streets. What is observed in these streets is that some remain idle, resulting in energy being used without any benefit.
Perspectives
The development of this article was very interesting, as it involved multiple perspectives from the co-authors. Since each co-author has their own research focus, this contributed to exploring various aspects and possibilities of the addressed problem.
