What is it about?
This pictorial contributes an empirical RtD study of how designers might collaboratively use generative AI art (e.g., Midjourney) in their creative process (e.g, to ideate).

Why is it important?
The results showed that the combination of human and AI input in the design process contributes to a fresh form of self-expression and communication. AI was found to bring a distinct perspective that opens up new avenues for artistic expression. The research highlights the potential of AI to augment human creativity and the need for ongoing exploration in this field.
Perspectives
I hope to stimulate dialogue within the HCI community and highlight the need for further experiential exploration, which is advantageous to understanding the real-world applications and requirements of co-creation between AI and designers.
