What is it about?

This is a novel colorization system that disentangles the color multimodality and spatial affinity via global anchors, so it can colorize grayscale images with both colorful and spatial consistent colors. Besides, our system supports automatically diverse colorization and user controllable colorization simultaneously.

Why is it important?

Our key insight is to disentangle the color multimodality and spatial affinity via global color anchors, which enables both colorful and spatial consistent colorization results, as is struggling to achieve by previous methods.
