Why is it important?
While there has been a lot of research in directly working with people with intellectual disabilities, there is limited research in understanding the perspectives of job coaches who train them. This study gives potential ideas of how the experience and knowledge of job coaches can be used to enhance the impact of the virtual reality simulations in their training.

This paper also delves into understanding the gaps in the training process and how virtual reality can come into the play to make the job spaces more inclusive for people with intellectual disabilities.
