What is it about?
This work describes what our research team learned from educators working in recreation centers in the eastern United States who were implementing technology-rich learning for youth in newly created makerspaces. This paper provides descriptions of educational strategies for best practices when attempting to introduce these programs into spaces that might not have had tech programs in the past.
