What is it about?

One of the critical steps during engineering design and optimization is evaluating the cost function in a parallel and asynchronous manner. PARyOpt helps with solving that part of any optimization routine. We also give a bayesian optimization framework to do the optimization .

Why is it important?

Engineering optimization and optimization require often multiple evaluations/tests of the "cost function". In this work, we give a very easy way to perform those tests seamlessly across multiple instances and provide a clean interface to a design procedure. This combination of optimization algorithm coupled with asynchronous parallel evaluator will speed up the design process.
