Why is it important?
The research to date has tended to focus on adult L2 learning rather than child, especially kindergarten students. In addition, as an emerging technology, AR has not been treated by researchers within the field of SLA in much detail. Investigating kindergarten-level students’ learning of English vocabulary with AR will shed light on the development of AR applied to SLA and provide insights for child L2 learning.
Perspectives
It was a great pleasure doing this experiment because I really enjoyed the time spending with the lovely young participants. I hope you find this article thought-provoking. And I hope it can help AR further develop in the field of language education.
