What is it about?
Planetary limits, including non-reversible climate change, are currently being trespassed. All activity domains and population categories are concerned, but as computer science specialists, we have started thinking about what to teach to future CS specialists. This article synthesizes our thoughts about how to teach environmental challenges in CS curricula.

Why is it important?
Humanity is facing non-reversible massive changes in its environment, with probable consequence on economics, health, and World vision. The threat is serious, and already palpable in many domains: agriculture, costal erosion, or biodiversity depletion. Higher-education must cope with that on the basis of available scientific knowledge. However, already formed specialists are often uncomfortable with these new pieces of knowledge. Some feel even illegitimate to teach these new topics. We believe practice sharing is a way to share legitimacy.
Perspectives
Computer Science is a rather recent topic in the realm of technologies and sciences. The elder among CS specialists may remember that their teachers were not native CS specialists. In fact, they properly lived a revolution during which non native CS specialists prepared the field for the first generation of native CS specialists. Today's environmental challenges necessitate such a revolution in teaching. In CS terms, we must bootstrap the teaching of environmental challenges in CS curricula.
