What is it about?
This presents the results of an expert usability analysis to assess the efficiency and efficacy of the different interfaces when a victim wants to report revenge porn abuse. The results indicate that most of the digital platforms that are often used by abusers do not have either an efficient or an effective reporting interface. The paper provides guidance on what steps could be taken from a usability perspective to aid victims in reporting the abuse

Why is it important?
The so-called revenge porn and other kinds of digital abuse are increasingly used by abuse perpetrators. However, there is very little report on how digital platforms help victims to report this abuse. Taking a victim perspective is important to design interactive systems that account for the complexities of digital abuse
Perspectives
This work is important because it addresses the topic of online Intimate partner violence. The paper shows how interface design contributes to this problem and proposes ways to move forward while preventing second victimization
