What is it about?

By sharing individual rewards within a group of workers and redistributing rewards, it is possible to make every group member earn the same hourly wage independently of the number of tasks they completed.

Why is it important?

This reduces the risk of working on a poorly rewarded long task and of not receiving reward because of tasks being rejected by requesters.

Perspectives

This is a step towards making paid micro-task crowdsourcing more fair and towards removing entry barriers for workers who are new to this type of job and more at risk of lower rewards.
