What is it about?

Why is it important?
Understanding how young people use social media and especially how they use it simultaneously with other social interaction spaces like youth development programs is important for social media designers and youth counselors. They can use these insights to identify youth social support needs and integrate them into their work to serve young people.
Perspectives
This article gave me the opportunity to really showcase and highlight the voices of youth who are traditionally underserved. This is something I'm very passionate about and was honored to have the chance to do.
