This paper presents a methodology to integrate professional skill development (such as communication and collaboration skills) throughout an ICT curriculum. Using a case study curriculum the approach is evaluated. The paper includes practical examples that can be used by curriculum designers.

Why is it important?
It has long been reported that ICT graduates lack the necessary professional skills (communication and collaboration skills in particular). This paper goes beyond the single subject approach and examines it from an entire degree approach.
Perspectives
This paper is one of the final papers from my PhD which conducted an evaluation of an ICT curriculum that aimed to increase engagement and reduce attrition.
