What is it about?

This is a study of the 2016 U.S. presidential election as it was being communicated on Twitter. The communication during the campaigns are analyzed to show what were concerns of people in communicating via Twitter. It also examines the tweets in terms of the factors that were important in the American Voter and shows how they were operational in the 2016 election. So campaign and then vote were both analyzed using a very large collection of tweets.

It is important because it brought together the campaign and the vote decision within the same analysis using tweets to layout what was happening in the election.
