What is it about?
Mobile Software Engineering as a separate research field has been relevant to speeding up Software Engineering research in the area of mobile devices and applications. However, evidence exists that the existence of Mobile Software Engineering as a separate research field is coming to an end and reunites with general Software Engineering research again. This development has implications for existing and future research. These implications and resulting opportunities are discussed in our paper.
