Different type of swimming modes help to overcome different environment conditions. and snake like structure possess remarkably flexible and elongated bodies, allowing them to move gracefully and with agility in the water as well as the body structure allows it to do mimic motions such as undulation as well as if needed move the body deform in different forms. thus this approach can be applied for develop a snake like robot which can adapt to diverse conditions.
