Why is it important?

It is quite clear from our findings that there is a need for governments to leverage on the use of conversational systems, especially the voice-based chatbots to provide services for the populace in order to bridge the digital divide and bring governance to the grassroots. Using voice-based chabots will allow the vast majority of those who are not computer literate, but who can use cellular phones have access to government services. The use of text-based ones should also be considered so that those who are literate can have options for interacting with the governments. There is also a need for the North Central zone to catch up with the other zones in web presence.

Perspectives

This publication is unique in the sense that it provides very useful information to the readers on an area that researchers have yet to explore, but which has very good prospects.
